Ingredients
- 8 slices of French baguette
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 5 fresh plum tomatoes
- 10 fresh basil leaves
- 4 oz mozzarella cheese
- 3 tbsp of olive oil
- Salt
- Ground black pepper
How to
- Shred mozzarella cheese and salt a side.
- Wash and finely dice tomatoes.
- Wash and mince basil leaves, mince garlic.
- In a large bowl, combine garlic, tomatoes, olive oil, basil, salt and pepper.
- Let the mixture rest for 10 minutes, allowing the flavor blend.
- Preheat the over on broiler setting.
- On a baking sheet, arrange the baguette slice in a single layer. Broil for about 2 minutes until slightly brown.
- Devide the tomatoes mixture evenly over the baguette slices.
- Top the baguette with mozzarella cheese.
- Broil until the cheese is melted
- Put on the plate and serve
